Sometimes people assume faith is measured by volume
how boldly you speak, how strong you sound.
But I’ve learned something different.
Faith isn’t always thunder,
Sometimes it is the quiet presence that never leaves.
I may not shout declarations every minute, but I live them:
- Showing up
- Holding on
- Praying even when my voice trembles
- Believing even when I don’t understand
That is faith in action.
Some mistake concern for doubt.
But a mother’s concern isn’t unbelief it is compassion wrapped in prayer.
Faith doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect.
Faith says,“I see the struggle but I believe there is redemption.”
I don’t always speak loudly, but I pray deeply.
God hears the prayers I cry, even when others don’t.
Scripture is full of women who carried quiet, steady faith:
- Hannah,
- Mary,
- Moses’ mother.
Their greatest miracles weren’t announced they were nurtured.
They were interceded for.
So here’s my faith statement today: “What looked delayed was actually preparation. God is shaping what fits not what others rushed into.”
Maybe the journey isn’t slower maybe it’s being curated.
That is faith.
That is enough.
