Sometimes life feels like watching everyone else move ahead while you stand in the slow lane, wondering why your journey didn’t unfold the way you hoped it would.
We don’t always talk about the in-between years the detours, the disappointments, the “I thought I’d be further than this” moments.
There’s the pressure to appear strong, to speak faith loudly, to act like everything is fine.
But faith isn’t noise.
Sometimes it’s simply showing up again tomorrow.
Sometimes it’s choosing hope while carrying a heart that’s heavy.
I’ve wrestled with questions like:
“Did I miss something?”
“Why did others leap ahead?”
“What was the point of the delay?”
And yet I’m learning:
Time is not wasted just because it didn’t follow the script.
Delay isn’t failure it’s shaping.
Redirection isn’t punishment it’s preparation.
There is value in the years that felt “lost.”
They taught resilience, humility, patience, and perspective.
What looked like falling behind might actually be falling into something deeper.
I may not see the full picture yet,
but I choose to believe:
• My story is not behind it is becoming.
• Different paths do not mean lesser destinies.
• Quiet faith is still faith.
If you’ve ever felt like others overtook you
like the timeline betrayed you
remember:
You are not late.
You are being formed.
