A very blessed month....
2021 was a blessed year, reached out to someone to physically help me be fit after resorting to many online coaching. It works for many, but it didn't for me because of the way I am. I need constant reassurance, a touch of a friend (those who know me I'm not someone who needs physical hugs) But I need people to embrace me emotionally, spiritually and sometimes, they come in the form of words or sometimes the absence of any words !!
Reached out to a gem in Jan or Feb of 2021, and I think it turned out to not help me physically but emotionally, psychologically. To know that, I can reach out to her any day, any time is more than what I needed in 2022.. Who knew!
God makes our paths cross!!
It started as me seeking fitness support, it started off with me commenting on one of her pictures. Today after over a year, I can say this, our families bonded too (err, well except for the firstborns of both families), our middle children bonded (the preteens). But again with our firstborns not being bonding, it is a clear reminder that we do not have to push friendships. They don't have similar interests! Their youngest can liven up my day. Seeing her at the end of an 8-hour workday refreshes me! The way she expresses her love is something that can make my "dull days" bright. The way she calls me GB is unlike any other !! WE're two families with kids of similar age, been amrried for the same numbe of year
