Yet another acumen from Aibz !

When trying to take a nap on Friday, this 4 ft happened to be cruising in and out of my bedroom. I wanted to try persuading him to take a catnap, so we began out usual dialogue of 'current affairs' at home.

The topic for the day was about a new member to the the family. This year we had 3 expectant parents in the family, te first baby(in our family) of 2011 was is a 'boy' .The next one, who we alla re expecting to be a 'boy' is due in the next few weeks...So the discussion was on a name for the 3rd new baby that is expected in the end of December.

He suggested that we stick with 'Ryan'. I went on to tell him, that yes the 2 babies were boys and the third baby is not yet confirmed by a doctor to be a boy or a girl.

He was upset n said : "this has to be a 'boy', I like to have more 'boys' in the family."
I said, "Abel, if we are getting a 'girl' baby in the family, it means 'God is saying that we have wonderful boys and we don't need any more boys'"
Aibz said : ' We have Abigail (his sister)'.
I said : "Yea, God feels that the family needs more girls',
Aibz says: "'Well, if we get a girl, we will give Abigail to some family who loves girls'
I was like: "Who would be those families"

He mentioned 2 families from church, that have girls who are fond of Abigail, they pick her up right after service and actually literally fight over her :)

Abel went on to tell me.: "They can take her to their home and raise her'.

So, I said.."Well their Daddys would be upset with the additional expenses, and also they may not be as loving as we are'.
He said: "'I will tell Dada to buy her milk, and pampers and send it over to the home every week !!!!"

Needless to say that I was so so shocked...n din know whether to laugh out or to suppress my subtle fear of his affection to his sister!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is he jealour of the attention that his sister gets at home?..I was trying to think from his shoes, why does he want her out??? N like a typical person, went on to think, that being a working mom I can't impart certain things that our mom could..Oh God!!!

Pearls of wisdom...

While I was still recovering from the shock of the above, he goes off to tell me ..
"Momma when baby Jesus was born, Mary was visited by an Angel. The Angel told her about the baby's he is going to have. So this baby's Mommy will be visited by an angel in the night and she will know what baby it is"

N pausing for a while he said to me again : "the Angel appeared to Joseph, so yea the baby's Daddy will also be visited by an angel'

So I went on to say.."Well, if u think they should have a baby boy, why don't u pray?"
He said : "Did anyone pray for baby Jesus, no it was already decided so yea, no one needs to pray for a boy, it will just happen"

Wonder what made him get in to this set of thought n wonder why he likes boys !!!
